Corporate Specialties Recognized As A PPAI Growth Leader
From its conception, PPAI 100 was meant to be more than just a once-a-year ranking of promo companies. It’s a roadmap for what the industry can look like and a resource for member companies to know where they stand compared to their high-performing peers.
That mission, which began in June 2023 with the unveiling of the new rankings, extends beyond companies that were selected for the inaugural PPAI 100.
Corporate Specialties is one of 19 additional companies that have been recognized for its exceptional growth over the last four years.
19 Companies Earn New PPAI 100 High Marks For Growth
While a company’s health is often evaluated by its top-line numbers, its trending performance is arguably just as important. When PPAI 100 was introduced mid-2023, industry firms' growth trajectory was an important addition to their story.
“Growth puts revenue numbers into context,” writes Jonny Auping, PPAI news editor. “A company that is generating considerable but stable revenues is on a different footing than one whose earnings are lower but rapidly climbing. Growth figures can reveal a lot about management's mindset and strategy, and give valuable insights on what the coming few years will be like at a firm.”
After the inaugural PPAI 100 was announced, PPAI expanded its evaluation to industry companies of all sizes. Using the same survey, PPAI examined company performance from 2019 to 2022, which was broken down into two segments with revenue trends considered as both a whole number and as a percentage rate of growth or decline. The percentage factor acted as a counterweight to ensure that the largest corporations did not dominate the rankings based on their size alone.
The result is a list of 19 firms that didn’t make the original PPAI 100 ranking but matched or exceeded the average growth rate of PPAI 100 suppliers and distributors from 2019-2022
With 99% growth from 2019-2022, Corporate Specialties is one of the 19 companies recognized as a PPAI Growth Leader for 2023.
